If you are farming crocs in the Coastal Jungle, route through the Tortuga Buyer before returning to base.The Tortuga Buyer is currency-driven and reputation-neutral. For items your active faction values more (insignias, faction-marked contraband, ship kits), the faction Buyer generally pays better and also contributes to reputation, so reserve the Tortuga Buyer for items no faction treats as priority.

Players who arrive in town with stacks of Naval Supplies, Medical Crates, or other People of Tortuga faction cargo will not be able to cash them out here. The town buyer focuses on relics, hides, heads, ingots, rum, and a narrower set of general loot items.

3333 The actual People of Tortuga buyer lives at the People of Tortuga Main Base, not in Tortuga town. The most reliable route to that camp is the second delivery step of Buccaneers (Quest), where Henri Boucher sends you to Charlie Sharpe with a Bale of Tanned Hides. That delivery pins the camp on the map.

3535 Once the Main Base is unlocked, it also doubles as a broader People of Tortuga hub. It hosts Charlie Sharpe's quest dialogue, a second bounty agent, and Black Axel, the cooking worker hire found there for 500 Piastres.
