Style Book: Blackbeard Hull Colors is a rare cosmetic style book in Windrose that unlocks three Blackbeard hull paint schemes: Storm on the Horizon, Kraken Ink, and Tyrian Purple. A style book is a one-time-read consumable. Right-click the book in the inventory to read it, and the entire set of designs it lists is added permanently to that character’s Wharf customisation menu. After reading, the book is removed from the inventory but the designs stay forever, applicable to any ship that character owns. Other characters in a shared base must each read their own copy.

Unlike the faction style books sold by provisioners, the Blackbeard design books are not sold by any player-facing vendor. Players obtain this book as loot by raiding Blackbeard outposts and by capturing Blackbeard ships through boarding. Once the book is read, the three hull schemes become available at the ship customisation menu.
Bring a ship to a wharf built at the Shipwright’s Workshop, open the customization menu, and select the hull slot. The three Blackbeard schemes appear in the option list once the book has been read. Hull paint is independent of Hull Modification, which is a separate, functional upgrade system.
Hull, sail, and flag designs are unlocked separately, so a full Blackbeard theme needs more than one book. The baseline and faction palettes come from provisioner-sold books instead.
