Stitches and Rum is a talent in the Toughguy branch of the Windrose Talent System. Multiplies every point of healing received from any source (Healing Potions, Executioner's Grace, food buffs, regen effects).
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Branch | |
Tier | 1 |
Max rank | 3 |
Points per rank | 1 |
As a Tier 1 talent it has no talent prerequisite and costs one point per rank, three points to max. Because it is an early, cheap, always-on multiplier, most builds invest the full three points before moving deeper into the Toughguy branch.
Rank | Healing effectiveness |
|---|---|
Rank 1 | +10% |
Rank 2 | +17.5% |
Rank 3 | +25% |
Mandatory for any build using Healing Potions as the main sustain, which is most builds. Stacks additively with Tracker 2P (+35% healing effectiveness) for +60% healing received.
Too Angry to Die: the 70 percent restore at rank 3 is amplified by this talent.
Bandage: cheaper field healing that also benefits from the multiplier.

Stitches and Rum is the healing-effectiveness multiplier. Every build that drinks Healing Potions takes this to stretch the potion supply.
It also scales indirectly with Vitality: a larger Max HP pool means percentage-based heals and the flat Healing Potion restore both return more raw HP, and this talent multiplies that on top.
A Healing Potion that restores 200 HP at rank 0 restores 250 HP at rank 3 Stitches and Rum (+25%). Stacking Tracker 2P (+35% healing effectiveness) on top increases the total to 320 HP per potion, a 60% uplift vs no talent and no set.
Applies to all healing sources: Healing Potions, Executioner's Grace heal-over-time, food buff regen, Rested buff regen.
Tracker set 2P is additive rather than multiplicative with the talent, so the total healing multiplier at rank 3 with 2P Tracker is +60%, not +69%.
Confirmed and reported interactions, on top of potions and regen already covered above:
Plague Halberd special attack: the five-stack AoE explosion heals 35% of max HP and the talent scales that further (around 43.75% at rank 3), making Plague Halberd boarding self-sustaining.
Bandages: each application covers more of the bar, reducing how many you spend per fight.
Plague Pistol lifesteal and Soul Eater drain, as currently reported: both return HP from damage dealt and should scale with received healing; verify in-game. The Plague Pistol returns 40% of damage as health.
Slot consideration: a baseline pick on Halberd boarding builds and on Bleed Bruiser hit-and-run builds that lean on potion uptime.
