Stede Bonnet's Flag is a ship cosmetic in Windrose featuring a skull above a horizontal bone, flanked by a heart and a dagger. Applied at a Wharf to customize a ship's flagstaff.
The skull stands for a pirate ship. The bone between the heart and the dagger is a scale between life and death, an omen of how fragile anyone's fate is at sea.
Sail to a player-built Wharf and dock the ship there. Approach the Wharf, open the Manage Ship menu, switch to the Customization tab, and select Stede Bonnet's Flag from the Flag option list. Customisation itself does not cost coin once the design is unlocked.
A baseline cosmetic option available at any Wharf. No Style Book purchase is required to apply this design.

The in-game emblem matches the flag historically associated with Stede Bonnet, the wealthy Barbadian planter who turned pirate in 1717 and briefly sailed under Edward Teach in 1718. Surviving period descriptions place a skull above a horizontal long bone, with a heart on one side and a dagger on the other, as a symbol of the pirate's choice between mercy and death. Bonnet was captured later that same year and hanged in Charleston, ending one of the shortest careers in golden-age piracy.
Flag changes are visible to other players in PvE and PvP, so the design you fly is also a signal of which faction you currently care about.
