What It Unlocks

Reading the paper teaches the Privateer's Pants recipe permanently for that character. The pants belong to the Privateer Set, a light cloth set built around critical hits and burst damage. The set's two-piece bonus grants increased critical hit chance, and the four-piece bonus adds critical damage that scales with the number of nearby enemies, which suits aggressive close-range fighters who weave between several targets at once.

How To Craft

Once the recipe is read, the Privateer's Pants can be crafted at an Armor and Clothing Workshop. Like the rest of the cloth Privateer Set, the leg piece is tailored from Rough Hide and Coarse Fabric. Check the in-game crafting menu for the exact quantities, as armor recipe costs can shift between Early Access patches.
