Pier Decorations are dockside accent pieces: cranes, winches, rope coils, and a slim pier flagpole. The set covers a Pier Crane, Pier Winch, Pier Flagpole, and two sizes of Rope Coil, and they dress a pier so it reads as a working port rather than a bare wooden platform.

Pier decorations snap to Pier pieces. Cranes and winches are tall props; pair them with Pier Pillars for structural support. Rope Coils are small and fit anywhere along the deck.
A Pier Crane and a Pier Winch together read as cargo-handling equipment, while Rope Coils suggest a ship is currently docked.
Pier Flagpole is a thinner variant of the general Flagpole that mounts directly on the deck edge.

Pier decorations are inexpensive. Rope is crafted from plant fibre at a workbench and is the shared ingredient across the whole set, Wood comes from chopping trees, and the Pier Flagpole adds one bolt of Coarse Fabric. Because the Rope Coils need nothing but rope, they are the fastest way to claim the Pier comfort point on a new dock.
Comfort in Windrose is a base statistic, not just decoration flavour. A higher comfort level raises the size of your maximum stamina pool and how fast stamina regenerates, and it lengthens the Well Rested buff you gain from sleeping in a built, sheltered home. For decorations to count toward comfort, the room needs walls and a roof, so finish the Building Pieces shell before placing furniture.
Comfort is counted by sub-category, not by piece. Every distinct decoration sub-category that is represented in your home contributes one point, so a single Pier piece is enough to claim this group’s point. Placing extra pieces from the same sub-category changes the look but does not raise comfort further. Spreading your build across many different sub-categories is what pushes the total up, while collecting mounted animal heads under Trophies adds further comfort on top.
Place a Pier Crane at the end of a long pier near the deepest water.
Scatter a mix of small and Large Rope Coils along the deck for a lived-in look.
Use a Pier Flagpole to mark which berth belongs to your ship.
Comfort +1 bonuses in a given decoration sub-category do not stack. Placing a second piece of the same sub-category does not add more comfort, it only changes the aesthetic.
