The Midnight Veil is a ship sail cosmetic in Windrose, applied at the Shipwright to customize a player ship's rigged sail set. Like every sail design in the game it is purely visual and changes no ship stats; it only alters the look of the canvas your crew runs up the masts. The Midnight Veil design is associated with the Smugglers of Port Royal.

Bring the ship to a Shipwright-built Wharf, open the customization menu, and select the matching sail slot. Midnight Veil appears in the option list once the unlock condition (a sail Style Book or stock availability) is met. If the design was unlocked from a Style Book, read the book while docked before opening the customization menu; browsing for the design first can leave the slot blank where the new option should be. Sail unlocks are bound to your character, not to the ship or the base, so each crew member applies their own.
