Like other base decorations they only count while inside a lit Bonfire range. The recipe is built entirely from Hardwood, the refined wood material, so prepare a stock of it before crafting.

They belong to the same furniture family as the Large Elegant Shelf, Elegant Shelf, Luxurious Shelf with a Crown, and Luxurious Shelf with Curls. All of these are decorative wardrobe pieces rather than functional storage, so choose between them on looks and footprint.

Comfort comes from the base Comfort System. The Wardrobe sub-category grants +1 Comfort, and that bonus does not stack: building a second wardrobe piece of any kind adds decoration but no extra comfort. To push the room's comfort higher, combine Luxurious Shelves with pieces from other sub-categories such as lighting, tables, or Trophies, instead of lining up several shelves.
