Left Gable (Straw) is the left pediment end cap for a straw roof pitched at 26 degrees. It closes off the triangular opening at the gable end of a sloped roof so the building is sealed against weather and looks finished. As the cheapest roofing tier, the straw set is what most crews raise over their first shelter before stronger materials are unlocked.
Place it as a mirrored pair with the Right Gable (Straw) at the opposite end of the same ridge. For the flat triangular face above a wall, the Pediment (Straw) piece fills the gable infill, while the sloped panels themselves come from the Roof (Straw) set.
