A large wall made of bark. Wall (Bark) pieces form the bark wall set, a sturdy starter tier that unlocks at the very beginning of Windrose. The large variant covers a full two-story span in a single placement, so it raises tall warehouse and longhouse walls faster than stacking standard pieces.

Bark Wall Set

The bark wall pieces all share the 750 max health value and are taught by the same plan, Plans: Leaf Roofs and Triangular Walls. This is a tier that is available from the start of the game, so you can build bark walls before reaching the Foothills. The set pairs with the matching leaf roofs for a complete early base.

Function and Placement

Large Wall (Bark) snaps to a foundation or onto another wall in the same building grid, spanning the height of two standard walls in one piece. Use it to enclose tall storage huts and crew halls quickly. Bark walls hold more health than the Wall (Leaves) tier (500), making bark the more durable of the two earliest wall materials, though both still break under sustained pirate raids. Once Foothills resources open up, upgrade exposed walls to clay or stone tiers for boarding defense.
