Overview

The Large Chandelier is one of the bigger ceiling fixtures in the Chandeliers decoration sub-category. It hangs from a roof or upper floor and casts a warm, formal light across a room, making it a centerpiece for banquet halls and upscale interiors rather than small huts. Like every fixture in this group it only lights up while inside a lit Bonfire range, so it works as base decoration rather than a portable light source.

The Large, Medium Chandelier, and Small Chandelier share the same recipe and the same comfort value; they differ only in physical size, so pick the one that fits the headroom of the room you are decorating. For a hanging fixture on a very high ceiling, build a Ceiling Chain first and suspend a Hanging Lamp or Pendant Lamp from it.

Placement And Comfort

Chandeliers attach to a ceiling or overhead beam and hang several in-game meters below the mount point, so check the ceiling clearance before building or a tall fixture will clip through a low roof. Place a Large Chandelier over a Decorative Table or a banquet arrangement for the strongest visual effect, and balance the ambient light with matching Wall Lamp or Wall Torch pieces around the walls.

Comfort is part of the base Comfort System. The Chandelier sub-category grants +1 Comfort, and that bonus does not stack: hanging a second chandelier of any kind adds visual variety but no extra comfort. To raise comfort further, build pieces from other sub-categories such as wardrobes, tables, or Trophies instead of duplicating chandeliers.
