Large Arch (Plaster) is a wide arched opening piece in the plaster building line. It frames a tall, broad gap in a wall run, suited to main gateways, courtyards, and open-plan interiors where a standard door would feel cramped. The plaster finish matches the rest of the columns-and-arches set for a unified masonry look.
At 1,500 max health it is sturdier than the 1,000-health base-set walls, reflecting its role as a structural opening rather than a simple panel. The cost of five Stone per piece is the heaviest in the arch line, so plan stone reserves before lining a wall with large arches.
Each large arch costs five Stone, mined from rock nodes in the Foothills and other rocky terrain. The recipe is unlocked through Plans: Columns and Arches, which also teaches the rest of the arch and column pieces.
For a narrower opening use the standard Arch (Plaster). The set also includes the Arch Wall (Plaster) for a filled arched panel, the load-bearing Arch Beam (Stone), the Pillar (Plaster) to flank an opening, and the Arched Door when you want a closeable entrance instead of an open span.
