The Emerald Shimmer is a ship hull color cosmetic in Windrose, applied at the Shipwright to customize a player ship's hull paintwork. The Emerald Shimmer design is associated with Smugglers of Port Royal.

Emerald Shimmer is a purely cosmetic hull paint: it changes the look of a ship's planking and has no effect on speed, cargo, hull strength, or any other stat. Its algae-green tone is themed to the Smugglers of Port Royal, fitting captains who slip through shallows and jungle cover rather than fight in the open.

How to Apply

Bring the ship to a Shipwright-built Wharf, open the customization menu, and select the matching hull slot. Emerald Shimmer appears in the option list once the unlock condition (Style Book or stock availability) is met.

Where to Find

Unlocked by reading the matching Style Book, sold by the Smugglers of Port Royal Provisioner. Style Books for the Smugglers of Port Royal are priced in Guineas, not Piastres, and gated behind reputation tiers.

The unlock is a faction hull-color Style Book bought from the Smugglers of Port Royal Provisioner with Guinea rather than Piastres, and gated behind Faction Reputation with that faction. Build standing with the Smugglers before expecting the higher-tier paint stock to appear.

Compatible Ships

This cosmetic name appears in the database under the Brig-class entry, but the underlying design is shared across Brig, Frigate, and Ketch hull classes. Once the Style Book is read, the option is available for every ship class your character has built or unlocked.
