Doors and Doorways is the openable wall panels that let you walk through a wall. Windrose offers 30 doorways (wall slots) and 4 door types (panels that go into doorways). Gate panels are a special subgroup for stockade and palisade walls.

Gate panels are a special door type that snaps into Palisade or Stockade walls. Unlike regular doors, they are designed for exterior outpost defense:

Doors inherit the Max Health of the wall they are placed in. Upgrading the surrounding wall to Stone also upgrades the defensive value of the doorway.
Double Doors require a Large Wall (1x2) to fit. Plain Small Walls only accept Single Doors.
A door that is locked from outside will still open from inside. For secure storage areas, pair a door with Stockade walls and a Gate panel.
Large Double Doors are visually impressive but cost significantly more materials. Reserve them for estate entrances.
Stained Glass doors (mahogany tier) are unlocked via the Elegant Stained Glass Doors and Windows plan, found as loot at Foothills Points of Interest.
