Overview

Decoration: Port Flagpoles is a single-use Recipe Paper in Windrose. Reading it permanently teaches seven Fine flagpoles, one in each banner color, built from the Decorations menu. The Fine flagpoles are the heavier, port-grade tier in the Old World style, sturdier in look than the Simple flagpoles and a step below the Elegant set.

Decoration recipe papers drop from Pirate Camps loot crates and ruined points of interest, with occasional appearances in cargo crates from defeated NPC Ships and in random trader stock at Tortuga. Reading the paper consumes it and permanently teaches all seven flagpoles to the character that read it; share-base members must each read their own copy.

Recipes Taught

After learning the plan, all seven Fine flagpoles appear in the Decorations build menu. Each color has its own page with its build cost and in-game description. Use them to fly a chosen color over a base, dock, or fort, or to mark out faction territory in a shared world.
