An outer stair corner made of stone. It turns a flight of Stairs through a right angle so a staircase can change direction without leaving a gap, which keeps tight base layouts compact. Because it replaces two straight pieces with one, it costs a little more material per tile but saves floor space in cramped interiors and on the corners of a raised deck.

As a stone piece it sits in the durable building tier, with the same high structural health as other stone parts, so it holds up far better against raiders and creature attacks than the stick or plank stair tiers. If you prefer a warmer wood finish for the same corner, the Corner Stairs (Mahogany) variant fills the identical footprint.

Building Tips

• Use a corner piece where a staircase has to wrap around a wall or hug the edge of a deck; it removes the awkward gap a straight flight would leave at the turn.

• The stone tier is worth the extra cost on any exterior staircase that an enemy could attack, since its 2,500 health absorbs far more punishment than wood stairs.

• Mix and match with the matching Stone walls and floors for a consistent fortress look, or swap to the Corner Stairs (Mahogany) piece for interior staircases where looks matter more than raw durability.
