The Copper Pot is a station component, not a consumable. Its only confirmed use is building the Stove and Pot, the base cooking station that unlocks recipe Cooking and supports Alchemy prep. The item description joke ("Not a helmet. Do not wear on head.") is a nod to its bowl-like shape, but in practice you craft one pot, place the station, and rarely need another since it does not stack and is consumed only by that build.
