Overview

Arsenal Key is a single-use chest key consumed when it opens an arsenal-locked chest in Windrose. Arsenal chests typically appear in pirate camps and small faction outposts, sealed behind a padlock that this key breaks. It is one of several lock-specific keys in the game, alongside the Vault Key, Reliquary Key, and Door Key.

How to Use

Stand in front of an arsenal-marked chest and interact. The key is consumed on opening and the chest drops its rolled loot. Most arsenal chests roll weapons, Ammunition, and small Guinea sums; a few high-tier chests carry weapon plans.

Where to Find

Looted from defeated camp leaders, mid-tier pirate ships, and faction quest rewards. Stack size 99 means a single inventory slot can carry a full inventory's worth.

Tips

Carry a small stock of Arsenal Keys while clearing camps so you never have to backtrack to a sealed chest. Because each key is single-use, prioritise the larger or guarded arsenal chests over the first padlock you see. The 99 stack size means a single inventory slot holds far more keys than you will usually find in one outing, so there is no reason to leave a dropped key behind.
