Ancient Relic Fragment is a broken piece of an older civilization's ceremonial or decorative object, recovered from ruin chests, collapsed altars, and submerged shrines in the archipelago. The fragments look worn and weathered, but the silhouettes still hint at the full relic they once belonged to.
Ancient Relic Fragment drops from the same ruin-run content that produces Ancient Scraps and Ancient Steel Shard. Swamp ruin loops, buried treasure chests reached with a Shovel, and pre-civilization altars are the three most reliable sources. Fragments also surface as side-loot on the Forgotten Relics quest chain across the Cursed Swamps.
Stack fragments alongside Ancient Scraps and Ancient Steel Shard in your ruin-loot bin; all three come in on the same swamp runs.
Do not hand fragments to a faction Buyer before checking the current recipe compendium at your base. Fragments appear in merchant sell lists but future patches may unlock recipe uses that pay better than the piastre conversion.
