WARDOGS lists official PC system requirements on its store page. Because the game launches first on PC through early access, these figures cover the Windows build; the confirmed PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions do not have published specifications yet. The game requires a 64-bit processor and operating system and a broadband internet connection, since it is a multiplayer-only title.
Minimum
The minimum tier targets 1080p on Low settings at 60 frames per second or better.
Component | Minimum |
|---|---|
Operating system | Windows 10 (64-bit) |
Processor | Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 |
Memory | 16 GB RAM |
Graphics | Nvidia GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 590 |
Storage | 50 GB available space |
Network | Broadband internet connection |
Target | 1080p Low at 60 fps or higher |
Recommended
The recommended tier targets 1440p on Medium settings at 70 frames per second or better, or 4K on Medium at 60 frames per second or better.
Component | Recommended |
|---|---|
Operating system | Windows 11 |
Processor | Intel Core i7 12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X |
Memory | 16 GB RAM |
Graphics | Nvidia RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT |
Storage | 50 GB available space |
Network | Broadband internet connection |
Target | 1440p Medium at 70 fps or higher, or 4K Medium at 60 fps or higher |
Notes
Both tiers ask for 16 GB of RAM and reserve the same 50 GB of storage, so neither memory nor install size separates them: the step up is the graphics card, the processor, and the move from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Requirements may change during early access as the game is optimized, and they apply to the PC version only.
Graphics Options
Beyond the two hardware tiers, the game exposes graphics options so players can tune it to their own machine, and the studio says it has continuously optimised across a wide range of hardware. Its performance breakdown walks through the extremes of those settings, labelling the low end Potato Mode and the high end Overkill Mode, and covers client performance, visual fidelity, and networking alongside them. The developers say testers consistently remark on how well the game already runs.
Store Listing Features
The store listing also declares a set of technical and platform features that sit outside the hardware tiers.
Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
Multiplayer | Online player-versus-player only; there is no offline or single-player mode |
Anti-cheat | Kernel-level anti-cheat, declared on the listing as Easy Anti-Cheat |
Accessibility | Four accessibility features are listed: camera comfort, custom volume controls, stereo sound, and surround sound |
Languages | Fourteen supported languages; English is the only one with full audio, and the other thirteen are interface only |
Interactive elements | In-game chat and online interactivity |
Family sharing | Supported |
Steam Deck | Compatibility has not been rated |
