Tides of Annihilation is planned for release on PlayStation 5 (with enhancements on PlayStation 5 Pro), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The studio has said all platforms are intended to launch together.
Release Window
The official release date has not been announced. The Steam store page lists the game as "Coming soon" with no date, and Eclipse Glow Games has only confirmed a 2026 launch window. On May 27, 2026 the studio announced that the game will hold its first-ever hands-on event in summer 2026, its closest milestone to launch so far.
Reports attributed to industry insiders have pointed to a fall 2026 window, roughly September to October. This has not been officially confirmed and should be treated as an unverified rumor until the studio states a date. The project was reportedly green-lit in late 2021, which would place it on a development cycle of roughly four to five years.
First Hands-On Event
Announced on May 27, 2026, the first public hands-on event is set for summer 2026. Alongside it, the studio detailed a technical collaboration with engineers from Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA aimed at keeping performance and stability solid across every platform as the game pushes a high visual ceiling.
