Overview
Peregrini Aurorae, meaning "Dawn's Pilgrim," is Coen's sword in The Blood of Dawnwalker. He carries it in his right hand during daytime combat. The sword features a balance symbol on its design, a detail revealed in Community Bulletin Board #4 alongside the game's key art showing Coen standing beneath a solar eclipse.
In gameplay
Peregrini Aurorae is the only sword Coen carries. There are no bows, crossbows, or alternative ranged weapons. Combat during the day is built entirely around this blade and the four-directional attack and parry system. Coen learned swordplay from his father, a war veteran.

At night, the sword is not used. Coen fights with claws instead, as his vampire side takes over. The sword's name, "Dawn's Pilgrim," ties into the Dawnwalker concept: Coen is a pilgrim walking between daylight and darkness, and his sword belongs to the daylight half.
