This page lists the PC system requirements for Stronghold 4, as published on its store page. Stronghold 4 runs on Windows only and is built on Unreal Engine 5. A solid-state drive is recommended, and a broadband internet connection is listed for both tiers.
The figures below are the minimum and recommended configurations published for the game. Both tiers share the same memory, storage, and DirectX requirements; the processor and graphics card differ.
Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
Operating System | Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) | Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) |
Processor | Intel Core i5-4670 or AMD equivalent | Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD equivalent |
Memory | 16 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB) | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB) |
DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
Storage | 33 GB available space | 33 GB available space |
Network | Broadband internet connection | Broadband internet connection |
A solid-state drive (SSD) is recommended for both tiers.
There is no native macOS or Linux build. On Linux, early hands-on reports indicate the game runs through Proton, though FireFly has not announced official Linux support.
These requirements cover the build available during early access and may change before the full release. FireFly expects to spend around six months in early access before version 1.0.
For the systems these specs are driving, see the castle economy, siege and warfare, and weather and events.
