Characters Based on Real Figures
Two roles are built on the likenesses of real people, created with the appropriate approvals. Amaru is portrayed using the likeness of Tupac Shakur, developed in close collaboration with and approved by his estate, with no artificial intelligence used in crafting the character. Genzo Iwaki uses the likeness of the late actor Bunta Sugawara, drawn from archival footage and photographs with the consent of his family and the rights holder.
Additional Cast
Other confirmed cast members include Heigo Yashima, Kiyoshi Otsuru, and a figure known as the Veiled Stranger. More characters are expected to be revealed closer to release.
