The White Duck is a rare duck variant in Starsand Island with clean, pristine white plumage. Like all ducks, it helps clear snails from rice fields, eating up to 5 snails per day. The White Duck is obtained by breeding two common ducks.

How to Obtain | Breeding two common Ducks |
The White Duck has entirely pure white feathers with a clean, bright sheen. Its bill and feet tend toward a pale orange. Compared to the common duck, which has a mix of brown and tan feathering, the White Duck's solid white plumage makes it easy to spot in a flock.
Breed two adult common Ducks (one male, one female) in a Duck Coop with at least one empty slot. The parents must be fed, clean, and happy. Breeding happens overnight, and there is a random chance the duckling will be a White Duck instead of a common one. The same pair can also produce a Jade Duck.
Parent Pair | Possible Offspring | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Common Duck + Common Duck | White Duck, Jade Duck, or Common Duck | Random chance for rare variant |
Common Duck + White Duck | Glazed Duck (possible) | Path to Super Rare Glazed Duck |
White Duck + Jade Duck | Glazed Duck (possible) | Alternative path to Glazed Duck |
Ducks provide a natural pest management service for rice fields. Each White Duck clears up to 5 snails per day, identical to the common duck and Jade Duck. Assign ducks to your rice paddies to reduce pest damage and protect your harvest.

Duck (Common): Standard duck from the Ranch.
Jade Duck (Rare): Green-feathered variant, also from common duck breeding.
Glazed Duck (Super Rare): Glass-like feathers. Bred from White + Common or White + Jade pairs.
White Duck is a stepping stone to the Super Rare Glazed Duck. Breed a White Duck with a Common or Jade Duck for a chance at the Glazed variant.
All duck variants clear the same number of snails per day (5), so the choice between them is mainly cosmetic.
