Lunar Crystal is the refined form of the Lunar Core in Starsand Island, produced at the Gear Smith. It is the top entry in the core-to-crystal refinement chain (Radiant Crystal, Starflare Crystal, Lunar Crystal) and appears in some of the most expensive automation and tool recipes in the game.

Refining Recipe

The full chain runs: Moonstone (mined) to Lunar Core (4 Moonstone + 1 Oilstone at Furnace III) to Lunar Crystal (3 cores at the Gear Smith). One crystal therefore represents 12 Moonstone and 3 Oilstone.

Major Uses

• Automation robots. The Logging Robot and Gathering Robot each take 1 Lunar Crystal alongside Eternal Alloy, Chips, and a Spirit Cube III at the Worktable III.

• Bug Trap. Takes 2 Lunar Crystals at the Worktable II.

• Titanium Rod. The top-tier fishing rod takes 5 Lunar Crystals, the single biggest crystal sink in the game.

Tips

• Plan 60 Moonstone for the Titanium Rod. 5 crystals means 15 cores, which means 60 Moonstone and 15 Oilstone; start mining well before you unlock the recipe.
