Overview

The Freewind Jet is an endgame air vehicle in Starsand Island, crafted at Worktable III. It is one of the only air vehicles in the game, allowing players to take to the skies and glide over mountains, forests, and the island's terrain. The Freewind Jet represents the ultimate in free-spirited, high-speed travel and is an aspirational crafting goal for players focused on transportation mastery.

How to Obtain

There are two ways to get the Freewind Jet:

• Blueprint crafting: Purchase the Freewind Jet blueprint from Neona's G-Power Bike shop in Starsand Town. Craft it at your Worktable III using endgame materials. This is the most reliable method.

• Friendship gift: Reach 5 hearts with Neona through gift-giving and social interactions. At maximum friendship, she may give you the Freewind Jet as a random gift. This method is not guaranteed and depends on the gift RNG.

Usage and Features

The Freewind Jet is the only reliable way to fly over the island, bypassing all terrain obstacles. While land vehicles must follow roads and paths, and water vehicles are restricted to oceans and lakes, the Freewind Jet can soar over mountains, dense forests, and coastlines without restriction. This makes it the fastest point-to-point transport in the game, since it can travel in a straight line between any two locations.

Air travel is particularly useful for reaching remote areas that are difficult to access by land or sea, including elevated plateaus, mountain peaks, and isolated island sections. The Freewind Jet effectively removes terrain as a travel constraint.

Comparison to Other Transport

No other vehicle in Starsand Island can match the Freewind Jet's ability to bypass terrain entirely. The fastest land vehicles, the Lightning and Nitro GTS, are limited to roads and paths. The Speedboat dominates on water but cannot go on land. The Freewind Jet fills the gap by providing unrestricted point-to-point air travel, making it the single best transport option for experienced players who have reached Worktable III.

The Freewind Jet was originally planned as a Kickstarter stretch goal during the game's crowdfunding campaign. It has since been fully implemented and is available to all players through the crafting system.

Tips

• The Freewind Jet requires Worktable III. Upgrade your Worktable through the Crafter profession questline before purchasing the blueprint.

• If you are close to 5 hearts with Neona, keep giving her gifts. She may reward you with the Freewind Jet, saving you the blueprint cost and crafting materials.

• Air travel trivializes long-distance travel. Once you have the Freewind Jet, you can reach any point on the island in seconds.

• The Freewind Jet is especially useful for reaching areas that are tedious to reach by land, such as mountain peaks and isolated plateaus.

• Even after unlocking the Freewind Jet, keep a land vehicle and water vehicle in your inventory for situations where you need ground or water-level access.
