Comet Glowfish is a bioluminescent fish species in Starsand Island, found in the Spore Cascade zone within the Moonlit Forest. It gets its name from the comet-like luminous trail its body produces as it moves through the underground waters. The Comet Glowfish is one of three Glowfish variants inhabiting the Spore Cascade, alongside the Fringetail Glowfish (Spring) and the Pearl Glowfish (Autumn). This variant appears only during Summer.

The Comet Glowfish is active for 20 hours daily (06:00 to 02:00) and spawns in both sunny and rainy weather. Its Summer-only availability gives you one season per year cycle to target it. Veggie Bait is the only bait that works.
The Spore Cascade is an underground fishing zone inside the Moonlit Forest. Reaching it requires unlocking the Moonlit Forest through the Exploration Club progression.
