The Autumn Pumpkin Carnival is a seasonal event arriving in Starsand Island with the Version 1.0 release on August 18, 2026. Seed Sparkle Lab announced the carnival on July 31, 2026, alongside the 1.0 launch date, and detailed its contents in the 1.0 release dev log a week after launch. It joins the game's existing lineup of seasonal festivals and is the first new festival introduced with the full release.
The carnival features its own storyline and event-exclusive quests. Beyond the quest content, the festival centers on harvest-themed activities and a pool of exclusive cosmetic rewards. It runs from the 22nd to the 28th of every in-game autumn, so it comes around once per in-game year rather than being a one-off launch event.
Three carnival activities were confirmed in the launch announcement:

The 1.0 release dev log itemized what the festival adds. Halloween candies collected during the event are the festival currency, spent at a dedicated Carnival Exclusive Shop that only opens while the carnival is running.

Seasonal rewards from the event include exclusive cosmetics and collectibles: outfits, makeup, emotes, recipes, and furniture.
The carnival is part of the Version 1.0 update, which also introduces online multiplayer for up to four players, new three-heart and five-heart relationship quests for 19 residents, and new dating activities for the 14 romanceable characters.
