Eggs and breeding are separate systems. Collecting eggs from your animals does not affect breeding at all.
To breed two animals of the same species, you need:
A male and female of the same species.
A habitat for them (Rabbit Hutch, Chicken Coop, etc.).
At least one open space in that enclosure.
The animals need to be fed, clean, and happy.
If those conditions are met, the animals can breed overnight. There will be a baby animal in the enclosure the next morning. You do not get a notification -- just check the enclosure. You can confirm by managing the enclosure, where a thought bubble says a baby was born. Animals will not breed every day, and each enclosure holds a maximum of four animals. After completing the Intermediate Rancher certification from Pastelle, the Breeding House blueprint unlocks at Green Pasture Ranch for 3,500 Coins. It lets you separate a specific pair of animals to breed together, which is useful for targeting rarer varieties.
Common Rabbit (Brown & White): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch. Breed two common Rabbits. Found in the wild when cutting trees/shrubs.
Dango Rabbit (White): Breed two common Rabbits. Found in the wild when cutting trees/shrubs.
Lop-Eared Rabbit (White & Grey): Breed two common Rabbits. Breed a Luna Rabbit and a Lop-Eared Rabbit.
Luna Rabbit (White & Pink, glowing): Breed two Dango Rabbits. Reward for completing the Intermediate Rancher certification.
Rabbits also serve a practical purpose: place Rabbit Hutches near your farm to automatically clear weeds.
Common Chicken (Brown): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch (yellow chicks). Breed two commons. Found in the wild.
Ink Chicken (Black): Found in the wild. Breed two commons.
Golden Chicken (Gold): Breed a common Chicken with an Ink Chicken.
Pearl Chicken (White): Breed two commons.
Common Duck (Yellow): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch. Breed two commons. Found in the wild.
White Duck (White): Breed two commons.
Glazed Duck (White & Pink, glowing): Breed a common with a White Duck, or a White Duck with a Jade Duck.
Jade Duck: Breed two commons.
Common Pig (Pink): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch.
Puffhog (Blue & Green): Breed two commons.
Common Cow (Black & White): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch.
Common Snowool (White): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch. Breed two commons.
Common Ebowool (Black): Buy from Green Pasture Ranch. Breed two commons.
Fluffwool (Black with white wool): Breed a Snowool with an Ebowool.
Blue Sheep (Blue): Breed a Snowool with an Ebowool.
Duswool (Black): Breed a Snowool with an Ebowool.
