Tel-Rea Vokoss is a Jedi Padawan and one of the story companions in STAR WARS Zero Company. She is a Tognath, and she joins Hawks to honor the legacy of her fallen Jedi Master, a debt that pulls her into Zero Company's orbit.
Background
Tel-Rea stands apart from the Jedi Order's usual path. Her presence in a mercenary outfit, rather than at the side of a Republic general, signals a Padawan operating on the margins. Boundless discipline and determination drive her, and the unfinished business she carries gives her a clear personal stake in the company's mission, a reason to fight that has nothing to do with pay.
The Jedi Padawan
In combat Tel-Rea uses the Jedi Padawan class, one of the exotic Specializations restricted to specific story characters. Her Force abilities open up tactics no other squad member has, such as a Force Push that pulls enemies out of cover and into a squadmate's line of fire, which makes her a powerful piece in the squad's positioning game.
In Star Wars Lore
In Star Wars lore a Padawan is a Jedi apprentice trained by a master, and the Clone Wars era is full of young Jedi thrust into the fighting. Tel-Rea's specific story is original to this game. Lore from the broader franchise is not automatically part of Zero Company unless the game itself shows it.
The Only Padawan
Tel-Rea is the sole Jedi Padawan class Operator in STAR WARS Zero Company. No second Padawan can be recruited or created, and no other character can be moved into the class, so losing her removes it from the campaign for good. Bit Reactor's own advice on the subject was to be careful that nothing unfortunate happens to her.
She can be respecced into any of the eight standard Specializations if you want her doing something else, but that is a one-way trade in the sense that nobody else can fill the Padawan slot behind her.
