Gucia is described as a seeker of knowledge, a gatherer of secrets and a most eager researcher. Her official profile says she had always kept her distance from others, a quiet and shy girl with a studious air, and that only when conversation turned to mysterious and supernatural happenings, to the things spoken of in hushed whispers, would she speak up with her eyes sparkling. The profile explains that she sees a reflection of herself in the unfathomable unknown.

Her quote sets her apart from the city's institutions: "My calling rests neither in a school nor in a corporation. My dream lies in the research of unknown organisms." The official title-page post words the same line as "neither in the academy nor in a corporation", a minor wording difference between the two official presentations.
