Overview

Starlight Showdown (星光对决) is a short PvP cup bracket nested inside the Starlight Roaming event window. It runs from April 20, 2026 to April 27, 2026 and funnels the highest-reward PvP matches of Magic Renewal into a single seven-day competitive window. It is hosted in the arena inside Starlight Leisure Park.

Access

• Automatically unlocks to players participating in Starlight Roaming (Magic Level 30, Spirit Researcher rank).

• Queue through the Starlight Leisure Park arena during the event window.

• Standard Shining Contest rules apply: 3v3 rotation with morale points carrying over between turns.

Rewards

Tips

• Scout teams before the window opens. Magic Renewal's balance shifts changed how often Pollution Bloodline recalls are used, so expect shifted meta compositions.

• Pair Starlight Showdown with the World Observation Notes capture sub-event to clear both on the same days.

• Save your best Prism Balls from Starlight Roaming weekly bundles for targets you plan to use in Showdown, not general capture runs.

Recurring Windows

Starlight Showdown began as a windowed cup, but by mid-2026 it runs as a weekly event: each run opens Monday at 04:00 and closes the following Monday at 04:00, and the official account announces the refresh every week. The format still asks players to field spirits obtained during that week's run, and it unlocks at magic level 20 with the Trainee Magic Student (见习魔法生) rank. Weekly runs have continued without a break across the Season 2 and Season 3 transitions; the most recent confirmed windows are July 20 to 27, July 27 to August 3, and August 3 to 10, 2026.

• April 20 to April 27, 2026: Debut window, hosted inside Starlight Roaming during the Magic Renewal patch.

• June 1 to June 8, 2026: Return window; field spirits caught that week to climb the reward tiers.
