Overview
Hollow Skull (空空颅) is a pure Ghost-type spirit exclusive to Season 1 of Roco Kingdom: World. Lore notes highlight that it relies on heat sensing rather than vision, which matches its fragile but intimidating appearance.
The wild spirit has a fixed spawn on the mountain ridge above the factory in the eastern region of the Kaluoxi'a Continent. Players who want a natural capture can visit the ridge instead of running the sanctuary farming loop.
Evolution
Stage | Name | Chinese | Evolves At |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | Hollow Skull | 空空颅 | Base form |
2 | Night Sleeper | 夜宿颅 | Level 42 |
Advancing Night Sleeper further requires both Ghost Core and Night Dust materials. Ghost Core drops from wild Ghost-type encounters; Night Dust is exchanged at the spirit evolution shop for in-game currency.
How to Obtain
Fixed spawn: Travel to the mountain ridge above the factory in the eastern region of the continent. Hollow Skull spawns reliably in this zone.
Sanctuary farming pair: Ghost + Ghost fruit pair using Dream Walker (梦游) and Little Ghost Mask (小灵面). Both are pure Ghost-type families.
Rotation: Standard 2 to 2 alternation between the two Ghost fruit families for Nightmare Shackles triggers.
Competitive Notes
Offensive coverage: Ghost hits Light, Ghost, and Phantom supereffectively. The family is a natural check to Light-type legendaries.
Defensive weaknesses: Ghost takes extra damage from Ghost and from Light. Mirror matches become speed races; carry a faster Ghost if you expect the matchup.
Low defense: Base Hollow Skull has notably low defense. Prioritize Speed and Magic Attack investments when cultivating it.
Tips
Farm Ghost Cores while leveling Hollow Skull toward 42. Wild Ghost spirits drop Cores on a rolling probability, so the materials accumulate naturally on the path to the evolution level.
A Season 1 shiny variant exists. Hunt it with the Ghost + Ghost sanctuary pair for the cleanest streak tracking.
Use Night Sleeper instead of base Hollow Skull in PvP. The evolved form has the higher stat ceiling required for competitive play.
