Night Sleeper

Overview

Night Sleeper (夜宿颅) is the mid-stage evolution of the Hollow Skull line in Roco Kingdom: World Season 1. It retains the pure Ghost typing and sits as the evolutionary step between Hollow Skull and Night Owl. Night Sleeper is usable in early competitive play, but its species ability Scavenge only activates on the fully-evolved Night Owl form.

Evolution From Hollow Skull

The Hollow Skull to Night Sleeper evolution triggers at Level 30, but also requires successfully using the Soul Hook (勾魂) skill three times in battle. Misses, dodges, and interrupts do not count toward the trigger. Lock down the target with a slow or stun before using Soul Hook to guarantee the hit lands.

Forward Path to Night Owl

Night Sleeper must reach Level 50 to evolve into Night Owl, plus consume 3 Ghost Cores (幽灵核心) and 5 Night Dust (暗夜之尘) as materials. Ghost Cores drop from wild Ghost-type encounters at Abandoned Empty House, East District Factory Back Mountain, and Black Water Cliff. Night Dust is exchanged at the spirit evolution shop for in-game gold.

Role

• Placeholder form: Because the line's payoff ability Scavenge is locked to Night Owl, Night Sleeper is treated as a farming placeholder rather than a competitive pick.

• Season 1 dex filler: Collectors bring Night Sleeper to the dex as an interim step toward the final form.

• Material farming: Use Night Sleeper on Ghost Core farming runs. Its Ghost typing lets it farm same-type wild spirits efficiently.

Tips

• Do not invest heavy spirit cultivation materials in Night Sleeper. Save trait slots and awakening stock for the Night Owl final form.

• Level Night Sleeper through Battle Theater stages while gathering Ghost Cores in parallel.

• Keep 5 Night Dust in reserve before hitting Level 50 to avoid last-minute gold spending.
