Overview

Vine Rope is a crafting material in Pokemon Pokopia used as a binding and tying component. It is thicker than Twine, suitable for holding together wooden structures, creating rope-based furniture, and binding habitat items.

In-game description: "Obtained by cutting vines, which grow in caves and high-altitude areas."

Overworld Locations

• Withered Wasteland (most abundant for early game): Dense vine clusters in cave systems.

• Bleak Beach: Vines hanging from high cliffs.

• Sparkling Skylands: High-altitude vines on floating islands.

• Palette Town

Dream Islands

Vine Rope spawns on five different Dream Islands:

• Pikachu Doll

• Eevee Doll

• Clefairy Doll

• Arcanine Doll

• Dragonite Doll

Pokemon Drops (Litter)

Pokemon with the Litter specialty that drop Vine Rope include Bellsprout and Weepinbell. These are reliable passive sources once their habitats are established.

Cut on Vines

Use the Cut move on hanging vines throughout cave systems. Vines do not regrow as quickly as trees, so rotate between multiple cave entries when farming.

Recipes Using Vine Rope

Vine Rope is used in 15 recipes:

• Resort furniture: Resort Table, Resort Stool, Resort Chair, Resort Sofa, Resort Bed, Hammock

• Decorative items: Wreath, Pinwheels, Vine Wall Decoration

• Functional items: Punching Bag, Cannon, Water Basin, Rope, Harbor Pole, Party Popper

• Lighting: Resort Light

Vine Rope is required for several major construction projects:

• Withered Wasteland Pokemon Center rebuild (10 Vine Rope)

• Palette Town Pokemon Center rebuild (10 Vine Rope)

• Leaf House Kit (25 Vine Rope, the highest single requirement)

• Orange Hut Kit (5 Vine Rope)

• Orange Cottage Kit (20 Vine Rope)

• Pink Cottage Kit (20 Vine Rope)

Tips

• Befriend Bellsprout or Weepinbell for a passive Vine Rope supply. Vines in the environment do not regrow quickly, so passive drops fill the gap.

• Withered Wasteland's caves are the densest source of vines for early-game players.

• Stockpile at least 25 Vine Rope before attempting the Leaf House Kit so the build can finish in one trip.

• Five Dream Islands all spawn Vine Rope, making Dream Island runs an effective parallel farm if your overworld supply is limited.
