Overview

Rowlet is a Grass/Flying-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Grass Quill Pokemon (Dex #185). It feels relaxed in tight, dark places and has been known to nestle into its Trainer's bag or the front of their jacket. Rowlet is the first stage of a three-stage family that includes Dartrix and Decidueye. It carries the Grow specialty, which makes plants grow faster on your island.

Habitat

Rowlet is found at the Fresh Veggie Field habitat in Palette Town, a farming-themed area that attracts Pokemon who enjoy agriculture.

Rowlet appears as a Common visitor at this habitat. It is available during Morning, Day, Evening, and Night hours in Sunny weather. This habitat is located in the Palette Town zone. Other visitors include Drilbur (Common) and Excadrill (Rare).

How to Befriend

Build the Fresh Veggie Field by placing eight Vegetable Fields of any type near each other in Palette Town. While eight fields is a larger requirement than many habitats, once set up Rowlet appears as a Common visitor. Walk up and interact with it to befriend Rowlet. This habitat also attracts Drilbur and Excadrill, giving you a chance to collect Ground-type Pokemon at the same time.

Specialty: Grow

Rowlet has the Grow specialty. Pokemon with the Grow specialty make plants grow faster on your island. When Rowlet is stationed near crops or flower beds, the surrounding vegetation develops more quickly. This is especially helpful for farming operations where you need a steady supply of ingredients for recipes. Rowlet's Grow specialty pairs naturally with its veggie field habitat theme.

Preferences

Rowlet enjoys natural surroundings with wooden objects and breezy areas. Place containers and spinning items near its habitat for added comfort. Despite preferring Dark environments, Rowlet is found at the open Fresh Veggie Field. Feed it dry-flavored food for the best response.

Related Pokemon

Rowlet belongs to a three-stage family alongside Dartrix (Dex #186) and Decidueye (Dex #187). In the main Pokemon series, Rowlet evolves into Dartrix at Level 17 and then into Decidueye at Level 34. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found at its own habitat independently. Dartrix appears at the Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass habitat, while Decidueye can be found at both that habitat and Modern Living.

Tips

• The Fresh Veggie Field requires eight Vegetable Fields, which is a higher furniture count than many habitats. Start planting vegetable fields early to have enough available.

• Rowlet's Grow specialty makes it an excellent companion for farming. Station it near your crop fields to speed up plant growth.

• If you want to collect the entire Rowlet family, you will need to build separate habitats for Dartrix (Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass) and Decidueye (Pointy Tree-shaded Rocky Tall Grass or Modern Living).

• Rowlet appears only in Sunny weather at this habitat, so check during clear days for the best results.
