Overview

Picnic Blanket is a paintable Other-category decoration introduced in Pokemon Pokopia during the More Spores for Hoppip Event. At 15 Cotton Spores per blanket, it is the most expensive item in the event lineup, and it is also the gift given to Hoppip to befriend it.

In-game description: "Spread this blanket out on the ground and picnic with Hoppip, Skiploom and other friends!"

How to Obtain

Buy at the Hoppip event shop for 15 Cotton Spores each. Shop stock is unlimited during the event window.

Befriending Hoppip

Giving 15 Cotton Spores worth of items to Hoppip outside the event Pokemon Center triggers the befriending interaction. The Picnic Blanket is the natural reward to use because it costs exactly 15 Cotton Spores. After receiving the gift, Hoppip joins your settlement as a permanent resident with the Grow specialty.

Tips

• Save 15 Cotton Spores for the Picnic Blanket gift before spending heavily on other event items, since this is the path to befriending Hoppip directly.

• Buy additional Picnic Blankets after befriending Hoppip if you want them as outdoor decorations. They make excellent ground decorations for outdoor builds, especially under a Flower Table.

• Repaint individual blankets to match different settlement themes. The two paintable zones support patterned or two-tone designs.
