Munchlax is a Normal-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Big Eater Pokemon (Dex #107). True to its name, Munchlax is constantly hungry and hides food under its fur, only to forget about it later. Munchlax is the pre-evolution of Snorlax in the main series, though evolution is not a mechanic in Pokopia. It carries the Bulldoze specialty, which lets it serve as a leader when demolishing Pokemon Centers for reconstruction.
Munchlax can be found at two habitats, both located in Palette Town.

Munchlax is a Rare visitor at this habitat. It shares the Bed with a Plush habitat with Slowbro, Slowking, and Drifloon. Available at all times and in all weather.

Munchlax is a Common visitor at this habitat. It shares this habitat with Snorlax (also Common). Available at all times and in all weather.
Both habitats are in Palette Town. The Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat is the easier option for finding Munchlax since it appears as Common there. The Naptime Bed can be found in a hidden sewer room underneath a large building in Sparkling Skylands, or obtained by having Professor Tangrowth appraise a Large Lost Relic.
The Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat is recommended since Munchlax appears as Common there. Place a Naptime Bed and a Large Tree near each other in Palette Town. Wait for Munchlax to appear and interact with it.
Munchlax has the Bulldoze specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can serve as leaders when demolishing Pokemon Centers for reconstruction. When you need to tear down and rebuild a Pokemon Center to upgrade it, a Bulldoze Pokemon like Munchlax is required to lead the demolition crew. This specialty is shared with its family member Snorlax.

Munchlax is paired with Snorlax (Dex #108). In the main Pokemon series, Munchlax evolves into Snorlax when leveled up with high friendship. In Pokopia, both are found independently. They share the Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat, where both appear as Common visitors. Snorlax also has a unique Mossy variant with different preferences and a different specialty.
The Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat lets you find both Munchlax and Snorlax at the same time, making it the most efficient option.
If you need a Bulldoze Pokemon and have not yet reached Palette Town, look for other Bulldoze-capable Pokemon in earlier regions.
Munchlax prefers Warm environments, so avoid placing its habitat near cold or icy decorations.
