Overview

Lucario is a Fighting/Steel-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Aura Pokemon (Dex #181). A well-trained one can use its aura to identify and take in the feelings of creatures over half a mile away. Lucario is the evolved form of Riolu and carries the Build specialty, allowing it to lead your building projects on the island.

Habitat

Lucario can be found at one habitat, the Box to the Rhythm, which features a training and music theme that appeals to athletic Pokemon.

Lucario appears as a Common visitor at this habitat. It is available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, and Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, and Rainy). Other visitors at this habitat include Machoke (Common) and Riolu (Common).

How to Befriend

Build the Box to the Rhythm habitat by placing a Punching Bag, any Table, and a CD Player near each other. Lucario is a Common visitor, so it should appear fairly quickly at any time of day. Walk up and interact with it to add Lucario to your island. Since Riolu also appears at this habitat, you can work toward befriending both members of the family from a single habitat setup.

Specialty: Build

Lucario has the Build specialty. Pokemon with the Build specialty lead your building projects, helping you construct new structures and furniture more quickly. When you assign Lucario to a construction project, it will oversee the process and speed up completion. This makes Lucario a valuable worker for players who are expanding their island layout or need to assemble large habitats efficiently.

Place items that match Lucario's preferences near its habitat to raise its Comfort Level. Exercise equipment, metal objects, and construction-related items all appeal to Lucario. It prefers dry-flavored food. Its Dark environment preference means it thrives in shaded or enclosed areas.

Related Pokemon

Lucario is the evolved form of Riolu (Dex #180). In the main Pokemon series, Riolu evolves into Lucario through friendship during daytime. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each must be found at its own habitat independently. Conveniently, both Riolu and Lucario appear at the Box to the Rhythm habitat (#127), making it easy to befriend both from the same setup.
