Overview

"Help Me Make a Home" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia, given by Magikarp in the Withered Wasteland. Magikarp wants a home near the fishing spot and teaches you the Jump move once you complete the request. This is a separate request from the Squirtle version of "Help Me Make a Home."

Walkthrough

Step 1: Craft Furniture

Go to a workbench and craft a stool, bench, or any other sittable piece of furniture. Any chair-type item works for this request.

Step 2: Build the Ocean Fishing Spot Habitat

Place the crafted furniture near the fishing spot to establish an Ocean Fishing Spot habitat. The habitat requires the chair to be positioned close to the water's edge where Magikarp hangs out.

Step 3: Talk to Magikarp

Once the habitat is set up, speak with Magikarp. Magikarp is pleased with its new home and teaches you the Jump move as a thank you.

Rewards

• Jump move: A special movement ability that lets you hop around the environment. Useful for traversing small gaps and reaching slightly elevated platforms without needing to stack blocks.

Tips

• The Jump move is a permanent traversal upgrade. Combined with block stacking, it opens up many previously inaccessible areas.

• You can use the same furniture you craft for other requests. Any sittable item counts, so do not worry about crafting something specific.

• Magikarp's habitat near the fishing spot also attracts other Water-type Pokemon over time.
