Overview

Froakie is a Water-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Bubble Frog Pokemon (Dex #251). It protects its skin by covering its body in delicate bubbles. Beneath its happy-go-lucky air, it keeps a watchful eye on its surroundings. Froakie is the first stage of its evolution family, evolving into Frogadier and then Greninja in the main series. It carries the Water specialty, which allows it to spray water on nearby fields and plants using a water basin.

Hydrated Pink Tall Grass (#139)

The pink of the tall grass contrasts beautifully with the blue hues of the water.

Froakie is a Common visitor at the Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat. It is available during all times of day (Morning, Day, Evening, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). This habitat also attracts Frogadier (Common) and Greninja (Rare).

How to Befriend

Build the Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat by placing four Pink Tall Grass items and two Water features near each other. Since Froakie is a Common visitor, it should appear quickly once the habitat is set up. Walk up and interact with it to befriend it. This habitat is especially efficient because it attracts all three members of the Froakie family.

Specialties

Water

Froakie has the Water specialty. Pokemon with the Water specialty can use a full water basin to spray water on nearby fields and plants. This makes Froakie a valuable farming partner. Place a water basin near Froakie's habitat and your farm plots, and it will automatically water your crops.

Preferences

Froakie prefers humid environments. Place water features, ocean-themed decorations, and clean items near its habitat to raise its Comfort Level. The Water features already used in its habitat satisfy its preference for lots of water.

Evolution Chain

Froakie is the first stage of a three-stage evolution family. In the main Pokemon series, Froakie evolves into Frogadier (Dex #252) at level 16, and Frogadier evolves into Greninja (Dex #253) at level 36. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so each member must be found at its own habitat independently. All three share the Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat (#139), making it the most efficient habitat for collecting the entire family. Frogadier and Greninja also appear at the Prank Button habitat (#173).

• The Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat attracts all three members of the Froakie family: Froakie (Common), Frogadier (Common), and Greninja (Rare). Building this one habitat lets you encounter the entire family.

• Froakie's Water specialty makes it an excellent farming partner. Place a water basin between its habitat and your crop fields for automatic watering.

• The habitat requires only Pink Tall Grass and Water features, both of which are relatively easy to obtain early in the game.

• Froakie shares preferences with its evolved forms, so decorations that benefit Froakie will also help keep Frogadier and Greninja comfortable when they visit the same habitat.
