The Planet Hub is new to the sequel and is the layer that turns a collection of separate sites into one operation. It is a global menu for running an international network rather than a single park, and it is available in every game mode.

Because it spans sites, the hub is where the interconnected structure of the sequel becomes visible: a player zoos and Wildlife Reserves are parts of one network rather than isolated saves, and the research and conservation work described under Research and Conservation is directed from here.
Across the Modes
Frontier lists the hub as available in all game modes. It has the most to do in Franchise, where progression and research are shared across the network and animals are traded with other players, but it is present in Career and Sandbox as well. The three modes are described under Game Modes.
