Post-launch refresh of confirmed regional times, server status, and CN versus Global differences
The Launch FAQ is the official pre-launch information document for Neverness to Everness, originally published April 26, 2026, three days before the global launch on April 29, 2026. The FAQ consolidates answers to the most common pre-launch questions: launch timing, platform availability, system requirements, server structure, login methods, pre-launch rewards, and troubleshooting for download or installation issues.
This article reflects the FAQ as published at launch, refreshed for the post-launch state. For live updates, players should follow the official channels and the in-game news feed; this page is updated as the post-launch picture firms up.
Both regional launches are now live. The Mainland China client opened first, six days ahead of the global rollout, and the global service opened on schedule.
Region | Launch Date | Launch Time | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
Mainland China | April 23, 2026 | 11:00 (UTC+8) | Live |
Global (Asia, America, Europe, SEA) | April 29, 2026 | 11:00 (UTC+8) / 03:00 UTC | Live |
The global server opened at 11:00 UTC+8 on April 29, 2026, equivalent to 03:00 UTC. The schedule below maps the launch moment across major regions for players checking when their server actually opened. All listed times are at the moment of server open.
Region / Time Zone | Date | Local Time |
|---|---|---|
China / Hong Kong / Singapore (UTC+8) | April 29, 2026 | 11:00 |
Japan / South Korea (UTC+9) | April 29, 2026 | 12:00 |
UTC | April 29, 2026 | 03:00 |
United Kingdom (BST, UTC+1) | April 29, 2026 | 04:00 |
Central Europe (CEST, UTC+2) | April 29, 2026 | 05:00 |
Eastern United States (EDT, UTC-4) | April 28, 2026 | 23:00 |
Pacific United States (PDT, UTC-7) | April 28, 2026 | 20:00 |
Australia Eastern (AEST, UTC+10) | April 29, 2026 | 13:00 |
North and South American players logged in on the evening of April 28 local time (EDT and PDT) when the global server went live; everyone else was logging in during the morning of April 29 in their respective time zones.
The pre-download window opened on April 27, 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8, two days ahead of server open. Pre-download was available across all platforms (Windows PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, macOS) so that players could install the client and queue ready for server open. Pre-download is no longer the relevant flow now that the game is live; new installs go through the standard launch flow.
The game launched simultaneously across five platforms. Full cross-platform play and cross-progression are supported across all platforms within the same regional server. Xbox Series X|S is not supported at launch.
Windows PC. Through the official launcher and Epic Games Store.
PlayStation 5 (and PS5 Pro). Through the PlayStation Store; PS5 Pro enhancements available, including DualSense haptic feedback support.
iOS. Through the App Store; iPhone 12 Pro or newer.
Android. Through Google Play; Android 10 with Snapdragon 855 or equivalent.
macOS. Apple Silicon (M1+) and macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or newer.
PC system requirements are split between minimum and recommended targets:
Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit |
CPU | Intel Core i7-10700 (10th Gen) | Intel Core i7-12700 (12th Gen) or above |
GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 |
RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
Storage | 60 GB free (120 GB during install) | 60 GB free (120 GB during install) |
Mobile minimum requirement is 20 GB of free space. See the Platforms page for additional platform-specific notes.
The global service runs on four independent regional servers: Asia, America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Each server is fully isolated; account data, character progression, gacha pity, and housing layouts do not transfer between regions. The Mainland China client operates on a separate, parallel service entirely.
Players are advised to choose the server closest to their region for the most stable connection. Once a save is created on a regional server it cannot be migrated; the same account can join a different server but starts a fresh save there. See the Regional Servers page for the full coverage table.
The Mainland China client and the global client share the same launch package, the same pre-registration milestone rewards, and the same Free-to-Play monetisation model. There are still small operational differences worth knowing about:
Topic | Mainland China Client | Global Client |
|---|---|---|
Launch Date | April 23, 2026 | April 29, 2026 |
Patch Cadence | Receives client builds slightly ahead of global; 1.0.13 client version visible by April 27 | Synchronises with each numbered patch (1.0, 1.1, etc.) on parallel windows after CN |
Account System | CN-only account system; cannot link to global PWG accounts | PWG account system supports email, Facebook, Google, Apple, PSN logins |
Servers | Independent CN-only servers | Asia, America, Europe, SEA |
Pre-Reg Rewards | Identical milestone reward bundle (Haniel, Fabricated Dice, Beetle Coins, Elite Hunter Guides, Officer Whisker glider) | Identical milestone reward bundle |
Music Collaborations | Same Persona 5 Royal / Phantom X / Tower of Fantasy launch tracks | Same Persona 5 Royal / Phantom X / Tower of Fantasy launch tracks |
Banner Schedule | Aligned with global; The Ichi-daime + Misty Tipsy Style on the same windows | Aligned with CN; same banner pair and dates |
Localisation | Simplified Chinese only | English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese |
Players cannot cross between the Mainland China client and any global server. Save data, friends, gacha pity, and pre-registration rewards are tied to the chosen client and region.
Login is handled through the PWG (Perfect World Games) account system. The FAQ confirms support for the following login providers:
PWG email and password (recommended primary login)
Google Sign-In
Apple Sign-In
PSN (PlayStation Network) on PS5
Each third-party login provider creates a logically separate PWG account when used as the initial sign-up method. Players who want a single unified identity across devices should use the same login method on every device. See the PWG Account page for the full account separation rules.
The FAQ confirms the pre-registration milestone rewards delivered at server open: 30,000 Beetle Coins, 20 Elite Hunter Guides, 20 Fabricated Dice, the A-Class character Haniel, and the Officer Whisker glider livery from the social media milestone. The pre-registration count surpassed 35 million before global launch, the highest milestone tier reached during the registration window. Full launch reward details are available on the Launch Rewards, Pre-Registration Rewards, and Hethereau Residents Guide pages.
All four global server regions are running normally as of the post-launch refresh. Common issues during the first launch window were typical for any large free-to-play release:
Login queues during peak hours. Asia and America regional servers experienced login queues for the first 24 hours after server open; queue times tapered after the second day.
Mobile optimisation reports. Mid-tier Android devices saw frame-rate dips during peak combat sequences; ongoing optimisation patches are tracked on the Patch Notes hub.
Cross-platform progression sync. Some PS5-to-PC progression sync delays were reported during launch hour; the issue resolved automatically as servers stabilised.
CN client launch-day note. The Mainland China client opened on April 23, 2026 with brief connectivity issues that were resolved within hours, ahead of the global open.
Players experiencing persistent issues should consult the in-game support panel and the official channels rather than third-party troubleshooting guides.
The FAQ provides guidance for the most common launch-window technical issues:
Download and installation. Ensure 60 GB of free space (120 GB during install on PC) and a stable connection.
Login failures. Verify the regional server selection matches the account home region. Cross-region login is blocked by design.
PSN account linking. PS5 players should link their PSN to a PWG account during the first launch session if they intend to access the game from a different platform later.
Mobile crash on load. Free up memory and clear background apps; mid-tier Android devices benefit from the in-game graphics-quality scaler.
Pre-Reg rewards not appearing. Rewards are delivered to the in-game mailbox; meet the in-fiction unlock condition (typically completing the prologue and meeting Mint in town, around Hunter Level 3-5) and check the mail to claim.
Pick the closest server to your home region. Cross-server save migration is not supported, so the choice is permanent for that account on that account's first save.
Use the same login method everywhere. Mixing PWG email login with social-provider login on different devices creates separate accounts.
Bookmark the patch-notes hub. All post-launch hotfix and patch information surfaces in the in-game news feed and on the Patch Notes article hub.
Check redeem codes regularly. Launch-window codes such as those tracked on the Redeem Codes page are time-limited; claim them before the May 13 expiry windows.
Enable cross-progression early. Linking PSN, mobile, and PC accounts on day one ensures the same save is available across devices without separate progression tracks.
