Enemy Field Guide
October 23, 2026 at 03:58 PM
Completed the enemy hunting roster and linked material domains
Use the Exploration Guide on your phone and open Enemy Shadow Elimination to track enemies in Hethereau. This is the quickest way to locate a material target without searching every street.
Whisper, Wind and Lost Spawns often gather near courier package terminals and abandoned delivery trucks. They can appear together around Gift from 21 encounters. All three drop Lost Whispers, Obscure Whispers, Paradoxical Whispers and U-00NE.
Enemy | Recognition | Counter |
|---|---|---|
Whisper Spawn | Spiked, bipedal Protocore | Expect close-range strikes and a jumping lunge. Dodge the landing and answer during recovery. |
Wind Spawn | Floating dark mass covered in eyes | Its ranged attacks track movement. Dodge the incoming shot before counterattacking. |
Lost Spawn | Hunched biped with sharp red arms | Its melee string can contain two consecutive attacks. Leave time for the second swing before responding. |
Leech Spawn only appears at night. Set the clock to 18:00 to begin hunting. It looks like a deer with a large eye for a head and can emerge from deer-shaped wall graffiti immediately before an ambush, often in groups of two or three.
Besides close-range strikes, it can sink into the ground and launch a surprise attack. Wait for the reappearance before dodging and countering. Its drops use the same Lost, Obscure and Paradoxical Whispers family as the other Spawns, plus U-00NE.
Huggy Vines are inside the main Serenetti Manor building, south of the Serenetti boss location. Access the manor through Where Words Sprout, Fall Unfolds, initiated from Adler's message.
At close range, watch for bites and shockwaves; at a distance, remain ready for a projectile. Dodge the attack before moving in to respond. Huggy Vines drop Suspended Delusions, Yearning Delusions, Transcendent Delusions and U-00NE.
Enemy | Where or how to trigger | Combat response | Material family |
|---|---|---|---|
Lightspeed Tagger, Another Art on the Wall and A Legendary(?) Band's First Page | Keep Redirect Skills and entry attacks available to parry. | Silhouettes | |
Cursed Blade | Track standard enemies; Crimson Hexblade appears in Where Is Home | Parry the delayed sheathed ranged strike. When the extra arm appears at half health, keep damaging the main arm. | Numerals |
Decomposer | Trash cans in alleys, often with a Haunted Vending Machine | Use Check on the disguise to expose the group. Keep range or dodge its simple melee attacks. | Numerals |
Octowpus | Roadsides and parking spaces; also several commissions | Hit the tentacled trailer to begin combat. Keep range from its slow jumps and close attacks. | Whispers |
Haunted Vending Machine | Busy commercial areas, markets, stations and shopping zones | Interact with the caution-taped machine to start the fight. Watch consecutive slashes and projectiles. | Numerals |
Rainman | Hidden courts and backlots in Illusion Town | Visit at midnight during rainy weather. Three Rainmen attack with sequential projectiles and can strike from behind. | Numerals |
Fluffy | Parks, markets and residential plant life, mainly Illusion Town | Passive until threatened. Grouped melee attackers are vulnerable to ranged or area attacks. | Silhouettes |
Saddy Teddy | Playgrounds, empty lots and apartment common areas in New Herland | Dodge the charging melee attack before countering. | Whispers |
Hidden chamber below the Midas Arc Workshop rooftop phone booth | Dodge the slash strings and charges; use area attacks when multiple armor enemies are grouped. | Whispers | |
Eternal Lamp | Dark alleys, playgrounds, basements and abandoned buildings | Appears after 19:00. Watch for fast approaches and surprise attacks. | Delusions |
Ghostly Kite | Rooftops, house roofs and hillsides, including Unheard Shores and Miguel | Dodge charges and lasers while keeping away from ledges. | Delusions |
Skyfish Banner | Rooftops; Dragon Gate Substitute and Heaven's Forsaken variants | Pull flying enemies together with Jiuyuan or Sakiri, then use area attacks. | Numerals |
Paper Squadron | Interactable white cube with red markings in open spaces | Follow the paper planes to mailboxes twice to begin combat. Dodge descending aerial strikes. | Delusions |
Noros | Serenetti Manor after Where Words Sprout, Fall Unfolds | Avoid electric sparks, the advancing electric wave and the close horn strike. | Delusions |
Haunted Record Player | Beside speakers or instruments, sometimes in gardens and alleys | Turn off the music to make it vulnerable and hostile. Dodge the flying discs. | Delusions |
These enemies also list U-00NE among their rewards. Named variants can have additional commission rewards or special items; those do not replace the ordinary material-family drops.

Enter Midas Arc Workshop on Crystal Mountain Avenue in New Herland District. Find the back door behind the wall with a triangle ornament to reach the roof. Follow the floating corridor, then climb the circular sequence of stairs and pillars to the rooftop phone booth. Jump down from its platform to the hidden door below.
Haunted Vending Machines, Fluffy and Octowpus can remain passive until interacted with or attacked. Decomposers reveal themselves and nearby disguised enemies when you use Check. Haunted Record Players cannot be damaged until the music is switched off.
For Rainman, visit a spawn location at midnight while it is raining. Eternal Lamps instead appear after 19:00. Ghostly Kites, Fluffy and Saddy Teddy do not require a particular time or weather condition.
Enemy or variant | Associated Arc |
|---|---|
Crimson Hexblade | |
Rainman | |
Ghostly Kite | |
Skyfish Banner | |
Paper Squadron |
The associated Arc route can be a commission completion or an encounter drop from the relevant encounter. Check the specific commission before assuming that every ordinary enemy kill awards the Arc.
Commission | Difficulty levels 1-6 |
|---|---|
Lightspeed Tagger | 39, 49, 59, 69, 79, 84 |
Where Is Home | 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, 80 |
33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 78 |
Each tier lists a first-clear reward of 10 Annulith, 2,400 Fons and 25 Peril Hunt Medals. These are per-tier first clears, rather than repeat-clear farming rewards.
At tiers 5 and 6, Overload starts three minutes into battle: enemy ATK rises by 10% every ten seconds, team ATK also rises by 10% up to 100%, and the team loses 5% Max HP every two seconds down to a floor of 20% Max HP. Flash Moment grants the current character 20% ATK for ten seconds after a Critical Dodge.
Enemy | Where or when | Combat response | Material family |
|---|---|---|---|
Rain-sweeping Maid | Rain or snow; a weather change does not guarantee a spawn | Pairs fire charged energy blasts. Dodge the blast before countering. | Whispers |
Dream Spawn | Near coastlines, water and anglers | Watch fast water blasts and a pillar raised at your position. | Whispers |
Hostile ReroRero Phone Booth | Unmarked booths that resemble normal fast-travel points | Activate to reveal the hostile version. Dodge close tongues and tongues summoned from the ground, then punish its recovery. | Numerals |
The Vishnus | Across Hethereau; orange handcuff markers show active crimes | Groups use bats and occasional ranged attacks. Area attacks hit several members while you watch the ranged threat. | Silhouettes |
Feather Puppet | Grassy rocky cliffs and rocks at Stellar Marina Fishing Spot | Usually walks before combat, then flies to use close attacks. Keep range or dodge and counter. | Whispers |
Cardboard Castle | Watch unmarked bombs after its opening attacks. During the mine pattern, move to its side and fit short attacks into safe gaps. | Numerals |
Rain-sweeping Maids appear on rainy or snowy days but can remain absent after a weather change. Recheck tracked locations instead of assuming a failed spawn means the enemy has no weather requirement.
Feather Puppets are derived from Nestbound Bird, while the Vishnus are a street gang rather than a disguised object. Their material families still follow the farming reference above.
Complete Kindness Hard to Refuse and reach Hunter Level 10 to unlock its High-Risk fight. Its six enemy levels are 39, 49, 59, 69, 79 and 84. Each tier's first clear rewards 10 Annulith, 2,400 Fons and 25 Peril Hunt Medals; tiers 5 and 6 also use Overload and Flash Moment.
For domain-based development materials, see Anomaly Zones. These stages provide a separate farming route from hunting ordinary enemies.
