Full rewrite with detailed character bios, shop function, Anomaly commissions, and location context
The Eibon Antique Shop is the player's home base in Neverness to Everness. It sits in the Bridge District of Hethereau, the game's main city. On the surface, it is a functioning antique shop. Behind the scenes, it takes on Anomaly commissions from the public to stay afloat financially.
The shop is where the player character Zero lives and works alongside a rotating cast of allies. It serves as mission hub, upgrade station, story anchor, and gathering place. Conversations between shop members drive much of the character development.
Eibon operates as the first unlicensed Anomaly hunting operation in Hethereau. Licensed hunters work through official channels. Eibon does not have that luxury. They take commissions directly from people who need help with Anomaly-related problems.
The shop also genuinely deals in antiques. The team hunts down rare and valuable items across the city. This dual purpose gives the shop its cover and creates a natural source of side quests.
The Bridge District is an older part of Hethereau, described as atmospheric and slightly run-down. The shop itself is a multi-story building with living quarters upstairs and the antique shop on the ground floor. NPC visitors come and go, dropping off commissions or browsing the antiques.
The following characters are associated with the Eibon Antique Shop. Each has their own personality, backstory, and role within the group.
The player character. Zero is a young Anomaly Hunter who arrives at Eibon with no formal license. How Zero ended up at the shop and their connection to the larger story are central questions of the narrative.
Hotori fights with an umbrella that conceals a katana blade. Her combat attribute is Cosmos. She is calm, observant, and often the voice of reason during group disagreements. Her partner Esper has not been publicly named in detail, but her Cosmos alignment ties her to the celestial end of the attribute spectrum.
Sakiri wields a hammer called Kiroumaru. She is competitive, direct, and has strong opinions about how the shop should be run. Three rules are posted in the shop that she insists everyone follow. The rules are a running gag among the other members.
Nanally is the head of the Coluccis family, one of Hethereau's established families. She is elegant, mature, and carries herself with an authority the other shop members lack. Her presence at Eibon connects the shop to the city's social and political networks.
Taygedo has a television set for a head. They are an Oddity, one of Hethereau's non-human entities. Taygedo is the shop's restorer, responsible for repairing and appraising items. They have won "Best Restorer" three times in some kind of professional ranking. Despite the unusual appearance, Taygedo is one of the more level-headed members of the group.
Adler fills a butler-like role. He is refined, polite, and handles many of the shop's day-to-day operations. He is also a capable fighter when the situation calls for it. His background before Eibon has not been fully detailed.
Edgar is a blue-haired young man who helps with shop operations. He assists with organizing commissions, managing inventory, and keeping the place running. He tends to stay in the background compared to the more forceful personalities.
Daffodil is a member of the Eibon shop. Details about their role and abilities are limited in pre-release materials.
Commission board — Anomaly hunting jobs posted by Hethereau residents. Completing them earns currency and reputation.
Antique appraisal — Taygedo evaluates items found during exploration. Some have hidden value.
Character interactions — Between missions, shop members talk, argue, and develop relationships. These conversations change as the story progresses.
Upgrades — The shop can be improved over time, unlocking new features and services.
Eibon is not just a menu screen with a building around it. The shop's status as unlicensed creates friction with Hethereau's authorities and licensed Anomaly Hunters. This tension drives parts of the main story. The characters' personal arcs intersect with the shop's survival, making Eibon a narrative hub as much as a gameplay one.
