Overview
Charge teams in Neverness to Everness build around the Charge trio reaction, which combines the three top elements of the Esper Cycle: Lakshana, Cosmos, and Anima. The trio activates when the Blossom turret (Cosmos + Anima) hits a target marked by Remora (Lakshana + Cosmos). Each Blossom hit on a Remora-marked enemy grants the active character ultimate energy.
The result is a team archetype defined by sustained pressure and frequent ultimate use. Where most teams wait 30 or more seconds between ultimates, a properly built Charge team can fire ultimates almost continuously while letting Blossom turrets handle off-field damage. Charge is also one of the more forgiving archetypes for newer players, since the passive damage from Blossom does not require precise rotation timing.
How Charge Works
The trio chain runs in three steps:
Apply Remora to the enemy. Lakshana + Cosmos triggers the duo, marking the target and slowing its actions.
Trigger Blossom on the marked enemy. Cosmos + Anima spawns the turret, which immediately starts firing AoE attacks on the marked target.
The Charge effect activates. Every Blossom hit on a Remora-marked target generates ultimate energy for the active character.
Because Remora slows the enemy and Blossom continuously pressures it, Charge keeps the target locked while feeding the team's ultimate economy. The reaction is not just a damage tool, it is also an energy economy and a control mechanic rolled into one.
Core Team Composition
Role | Best Fits | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Main DPS | Nanally (Anima), Esper Zero (Cosmos) | Anchors the on-field damage. Nanally's follow-up attack mechanic stacks with Charge passively. |
Cosmos Driver | Triggers Remora and Blossom from the Cosmos side. Zero is the easy free pick; Chiz amplifies Charge directly. | |
Anima Support | Provides the Anima half of Blossom. Mint's passive doubles Blossom projectiles, making her one of the best Charge enablers. | |
Lakshana / Flex | Provides the Lakshana half of Remora. Hathor adds energy battery uptime; Haniel is a free Psyche-flex healer. |
Recommended Team Templates
Advanced Charge Core
Featured: Nanally + Esper Zero + Mint + Hathor. Maximum Charge generation with all three elements covered. Mint doubles Blossom output, Hathor batteries energy, Zero drives Cosmos triggers, Nanally delivers the on-field damage.
Blossom God Squad (AoE Farming)
Featured: Nanally + Esper Zero + Sakiri + Jiuyuan. Heavy autonomous turret pressure for clearing waves. Sakiri's CC keeps groups packed for AoE; Jiuyuan adds extra Blossom triggers and team healing.
F2P Charge Path
Featured: Esper Zero + Mint + Skia + Haniel. Built entirely from free characters and standard banner pulls. Skia covers Lakshana, Mint covers Anima, Zero covers Cosmos; Haniel rounds out the team with Psyche healing.
Rotation Tips
Lead with Remora. Apply the mark before triggering Blossom; Blossom hits on an unmarked target do not generate Charge energy.
Keep Blossom uptime maximal. The turret runs on its own; the goal is to have at least one Blossom active whenever you are dealing damage.
Spend ultimates aggressively. The whole archetype is built around fueling ultimates, so holding charges past the cap wastes the team's value.
Swap to refresh Esper Cycle Passives. Mint's passive doubles Blossom projectiles only while she is in the squad; even off-field, her passive carries the team.
Watch for Charge buffers. Chiz and Esper Zero both have passives that improve Charge directly. Chiz is gated behind City Tycoon Level 18; Zero is your starter character.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths | Weaknesses |
|---|---|
Highest ultimate uptime in the game | Setup-heavy: Remora must land before Blossom triggers Charge |
Strong AoE coverage from autonomous turrets | Single-target burst is lower than Discord teams |
Forgiving rotation; less reliant on perfect parry timing | Requires three different elements; F2P pool depth matters |
Mint as a free A-Class doubles output via passive | Less effective against bosses with high break-bar pressure needs |
