Overview
Fishing is one of the major side activities available in Neverness to Everness. Players can fish at designated spots throughout the city of Hethereau, catching a wide variety of fish species. The activity serves as a relaxing alternative to combat-focused gameplay and provides useful rewards including upgrade materials and currency.
How Fishing Works
Fishing spots are located near bodies of water throughout Hethereau, including rivers, lakes, and coastal areas. Players approach a fishing spot and interact with it to begin the fishing mini-game. The activity involves casting a line, waiting for a bite, and completing a timing-based mini-game to reel in the catch.
Fish Variety
The fishing system features 76 different fish types spread across various locations in Hethereau. Different fishing spots offer different fish species, encouraging players to explore multiple areas to complete their collection. Fish rarity ranges from common catches to rare species that appear only under specific conditions.
Fishing Locations
Fishing spots can be found across all major districts of Hethereau:
Bridge Crossing: Riverside fishing spots along the main waterways.
Miguel District: Caltrop Lake and surrounding scenic waterways offer premium fishing locations.
New Herland District: Urban waterfronts and park ponds.
Unheard Shores: Coastal fishing spots with unique saltwater species.
Rewards
Caught fish can be sold for currency or used as crafting materials. Completing fishing milestones and catching rare species awards additional bonus items. Fishing is also tied to the game's collectible tracking system, with a dedicated fish log that records every species the player has caught.
Tips
Different times of day and weather conditions can affect which fish appear at each spot.
The day-night cycle influences fish availability at certain locations.
Rare fish are more likely to appear during specific weather patterns.
