Marvel's Wolverine is a linear campaign of 30 main missions, played in a fixed order. Insomniac has not published a mission list; the names and order below come from post-launch community guides, three of which agree on all 30, and one name, The One That Got Away, also appears on the studio's own support pages. The region grouping follows the guides' chapter headings; the studio's own gameplay guide confirms the four regions and their order without numbering missions. This page is a names-and-structure list, not a walkthrough: no plot summaries are given, and per-mission counts are marked as reported.
Structure
The campaign opens in Telambang, moves to Canada (see Vancouver) and then to Madripoor and Japan, and returns to Madripoor and then Japan for its final act. The count and the fixed order are consistent with the studio's statement that the game is not set in an open world; see Story and Setting and Locations. Finished missions can be revisited through Mission Replay from the Nightmare Cabin, which is how missed Collectibles and level-specific Trophies are cleaned up, and post-launch guides report that nothing is missable.
Region | Missions |
|---|---|
Telambang | 1 to 3 |
Canada | 4 to 8 |
Madripoor | 9 to 12 |
Japan | 13 to 21 |
Madripoor, second visit | 22 to 28 |
Japan, second visit | 29 and 30 |
Mission list
Per-mission counts of Nightmare Doors, Material Crates and Whisky Bottles come from a single post-launch guide and sum to the 14, 68 and 20 that three guides agree on; treat the per-mission split as reported. Notes are given only where a first-party fact or a corroborated detail attaches to the mission.

30 | Brave New World | Japan (second visit) | 0 / 0 / 0 | Final mission |
Two first-party fixes sit outside the table because the studio did not name the mission: hotfix 1.001.004 fixed Jean Grey dropping off in a mission in Japan, and fixed Logan failing to slide under a prison door in Telambang, the region of the first three missions.
Beyond the story
One post-launch guide reports a fifteenth Nightmare Trial with no door, Best There Is, that appears in the Nightmare Cabin after the story; the doors themselves are on Nightmare Doors. New Game Plus replays the campaign with carried-over unlocks, an increased level cap, more Strands and four additional Adaptations.
