Marvel's Wolverine is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, in collaboration with Marvel Games. This page collects the cast and production credits that have been made public.
Cast
Insomniac has named two performers itself. The remaining roles below have been made public elsewhere without the studio confirming them in its own material, and are marked accordingly.
Role | Performer | Confirmation |

Liam McIntyre | Announced by the studio | |
Krizia Bajos | Announced by the studio | |
Kelly Hu | Announced | |
Troy Baker | Not confirmed by the studio | |
Nicole Pacent | Not confirmed by the studio | |
Brett Gipson | Not confirmed by the studio |
Liam McIntyre provides both voice and motion capture for Logan, and has described preparing for the feral version of the character by seeking out video footage of how rabid dogs behave. Krizia Bajos performs Jean Grey in voice and motion capture as well.
Deathstrike, described by Insomniac as one of the game's big antagonists, has no publicly announced performer.
Liam McIntyre also narrates the Game Features Trailer released on August 28, 2026, speaking as Logan over a run-through of the game's systems.

Leadership changed during the project's long development. When the game was revealed in September 2021 it was led by creative director Brian Horton and game director Cameron Christian; by the 2026 marketing cycle the roles were held by Marcus Smith and Mike Daly.
Marcus Smith has described the project's origin in staffing terms: the team that had just finished the studio's Miles Morales game was the one rolling over to make a new game.
Who did what
Gavin Goulden lives in British Columbia, which Marcus Smith has cited as the reason the game's Vancouver setting had to be represented properly.
Grant Hollis has described commissioning specific comic creators to design unique suits, and the work done to make blood viscous, wet, and able to smear across surfaces.
Brian Wyser directs the actors on the performance-capture stage.
Lauren Mee pitched the Never Have I Ever scene between Logan and Mystique, developed with game designer Keith Nakamura.
Walt Williams has explained the choice of protagonist: Logan is in many ways the quintessential mutant but also one of the most human characters in comic history, a man who is simply born different.
Location scanning
Insomniac sent team members on location-scanning trips as part of building the game's settings, and has published an account of the Japanese one. Six people made that trip: Jonnathan Mercado, Christen Borras Alicea, Niina Taniguchi, Reiko Sekine, Chris Devens and Nathaniel Bell. The route ran Tokyo to Joetsu, on to Tsumago-Juku and Magome-Juku, then Kyoto, and back to Tokyo, after months of virtual scouting and route planning helped along by Sony Interactive Entertainment's teams in Japan.
Trip figure | Total |
|---|---|
Scans captured | Over 600 |
Biomes covered | 4 |
Distance walked | Over 100 miles, carrying roughly 20 lb of gear |
Data captured | 5.6 TB |
Photographs | 189,589 |
Gear casualties | Two cables, one plastic case, and the glass back of one phone |
The biomes ranged from snow-covered mountains in the east to an underground train station, and from bamboo forests to sunbaked city streets and roadside temples. The studio has been clear that this material is not a map of the game: even where a location in the game is fictional, first-hand research gives artists a stronger foundation to build from. Canadian reference was gathered in the same spirit around Squamish, North Vancouver and Whistler, with art director Gavin Goulden describing the game's Vancouver as an artistic rendition rather than a copy. See Locations.
Music
The score is by David Fleming, an Emmy Award-winning composer. The game's main theme is titled "Logan", and it was released as a single on July 24, 2026, ahead of the full soundtrack on August 28, 2026.
The game also contains licensed music alongside the score, confirmed by a Streaming Mode setting that toggles between the two. See Technical Features and Performance.
Tie-in material
A digital prequel comic was produced alongside the game, written by narrative director Walt Williams with art by Luke Ross and a cover by Iban Coello. It is tie-in material rather than in-game content, and its story is not treated as confirmed game canon on this wiki.
An art book, Marvel's Wolverine: The Art of the Game, is written by games historian Alex Forbes-Calvin and is due on November 3, 2026. Like the comic, it is tie-in material rather than in-game content.
The key art used across the game's marketing and the Limited Edition hardware line was designed in collaboration with the comic artist Jock.
